General Information

Our 2024 U-Pick season is now over. Thank you everybody who came out!

We have frozen haskap available throughout the year. Please call Randy at 780 312 9298 to arrange  pick up times.

  • Children must be supervised and within 2m of a parent at all times. Please ensure children use toilet facilities if needed.
  • Only people who are picking are allowed in the orchard (and young children requiring supervision). Maximum 2 adults per bucket.
  • NO PETS. Please leave them in your vehicle.
  • NO SMOKING allowed anywhere on the premises.
  • Toilet facility is located to the right of the office.
  • Watch your footing. The ground may be rough, especially at the row ends.
  • You may want to bring drinking water, hat, insect repellent, and sunscreen to help ensure an enjoyable experience while picking.
  • Respect our home/farm by taking out everything you brought in.

We apologize for all the rules, but fortunately most of them just require common sense and mutual respect. In the end we just want to say welcome to our farm, enjoy your time, and thank you very much for coming out!!!

Picking Information

  • New picking buckets will be provided so no need to bring your own.
  • Since you probably don't gorge yourself on fruit at the grocery store without paying, we ask that you don't do it in our orchard. However, respectful sampling is fine.
  • You will be designated picking rows. Please pick only those rows and do not wander to other areas of the orchard or farm.

  • How to pick:

  1. Most of the berries are under the branches. Use one hand to hold the branch and the other to pick the berries.
  2. Pick all the berries on your side of the bush before moving on to the next bush. It is much more efficient and faster than skimming a few berries from several bushes. It also helps ensure all pickers have bushes loaded with berries to pick, rather than bushes with only berries you left behind. Please do not waste fruit, and never shake the bushes.
  3. Try to walk on the grass only. Disturbing the vegetation-free tree rows spreads and promote weeds.

  • Payment in cash only please
